How do I add a new debt?
Tap the "+" tab at the bottom of the screen. Enter the person's name, the amount, and whether they owe you or you owe them. Add an optional description and due date, then save.
How do I record a payment?
Open the debt by tapping on it, then tap "Add Payment." Enter the amount paid and it will be subtracted from the total owed.
Can the other person see the debt?
Only if you share it with them. You can invite another OweSnap user to a shared debt so both parties can view and update it.
How do reminders work?
You can send a push notification reminder to anyone you have shared a debt with. They will receive a notification on their device prompting them to pay.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security. Only you (and anyone you explicitly share with) can access your debts and payment history.
How do I delete my account?
Contact us at support@owesnap.com and we will process your account deletion within 48 hours. All associated data will be permanently removed.
Can I use OweSnap for free?
Yes. OweSnap is free to use with core features. Premium features like unlimited debts, advanced reminders, and analytics are available with a subscription.
